Luxury and fairly clean place, everything was very good. Greatly enjoyed the immaculately clean and elegant standard double room with a huge bed and the way it was setup. Having a hair dryer, fresh towels, and slippers was a bonus.
The staff we met were very bad.

The hotel is newly refurbished, everything is fairly new. The room is very clean. Apart from the heat in the room and the breakfast we are happy with the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable(if ignore the heat)
One night we saw a thumb size cockroach came out of our bathtub. We stayed in that hotel for 3 nights, the central air-condition didn’t work at all, it was very hot in the room at night. We had to keep the door open the whole night. We spoke to the staff 4 times about the aircon but nothing improved. The breakfast was disappointing, they only had cucumber, tomato, cheese, Olive, watermelon and jam. We expected a bit more from a 4 star hotel. In addition, The hotel doesn’t provide tour booking service, they only have brochures in the reception but you can’t book things from them.

Comfortable bed and quiet location close to the harbor, shops, city center, fish market, dolmus station, and yacht marina. Really helpful and caring staff. Free wake-up calls and ironing service. Early check-in and late check-out available.

Great Turkish bath infrastructure
Due to the low season period, there was no hot water nor cooling air conditioning turned on in the room. Also, the shower sink water was flooding the bathroom as well.

Conveniently located in a bustling shopping area with plenty of stores and a supermarket nearby. Also, a local fast food joint called Oztoklu Restaurant is just a 10-minute walk away! 🍔

The Mara Hotel provided convenient good value luxury accommodation, although we only stayed one night after being on a boating holiday for a week (our flight home was not until the following day). The hotel was very clean and new having not long been open very long. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is excellent being only a block away from the waterfront, and a couple blocks to the bazaar and shopping. Clean and well equipped suites, with modern and tasteful decor. I'll definitely stay at the Mara hotel again when I return!
The hotel was so new that not all facilities were ready for use, yet - which was disappointing only because they looked so beautiful!

The hotel is elegantly designed with a beautiful unit and a spacious bed. A variety of delicious food options are served on the patio. It is well-priced and conveniently located close to the marina.

Unfortunately nothing appealing at this hotel ! I really don't recommend this hotel. To be avoided !
The hotel is still under renovation. When walked in to register, the lobby looked like a disaster zone ! It was dirty full of construction material lying around in every corner of the lobby. Apparently the hotel was abounded for the last five years, now they are trying to make something new with the old stuff ! My room even renovated, it was bad smelly. When using the bathroom, i had water leaking pipe over my head from the bathroom above my room, probably from a guest taking a shower, or else ! Not a pleasant feeling ! The staff a t the reception are rude! Upon my arrival to check in, it took around 10 minutes to be answered by the clerk at the reception since he was talking on his personal mobile phone. Every time i tried to get a tourist information at the front desk, They make you feel that you are disturbing them and in hurry to get back to their personal phone conversation.

It was cheap and clean and recently remodeled, the blue lights in the bathroom were a nice touch, and the fourth floor eating area had a great view.
The staff just walked into our room without permission!! They were embarrassed but so was I.

The Hotel was fantastic. We loved the rooms, the service, the reception staff and the help were all very friendly. What impressed me the most was that they didnt charge me for a night's booking where we failed to make it to the hotel. They didn't charge me the no-show fee and offered me booking for the next day. They were within their rights to charge me but were considerate after learning that my flight got delayed. Fully recommended to all.
